Senior Mechanical Designer | CX Specialist

Stephen Beam is the Manager of Akin Brooks Engineering South Office. He is a Senior Project Manager and a Senior Mechanical Designer with experience in the industry since 1998. Stephen's primary roles within the company include directing Operations at our South Florida office, client relations, project procurement, project management, design team support and commissioning services support. Stephen is also a retired United States Navy service-connected disabled veteran. Stephen received advanced training and amassed many certifications in the U.S. Navy which have helped equip him for the design of complex mechanical systems. Prior to joining Akin Brooks, Stephen directed operations at Anderson-Williams Consulting Engineers which allowed him to be responsible for contract procurement, project management, design development and client relations. Outside of the office, Stephen enjoys problem solving, great food and traveling.
