Diego De La Hoz is a Mechanical and Plumbing Engineer at Akin Brooks. With experience in the industry since 2018, Diego's primary roles within the company include the design of Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems, and client acquisition strategies. Diego is also a licensed professional engineer in the state of Florida. Diego graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to joining Akin Brooks, Diego worked as a Lead Mechanical Designer which allowed him to lead a team of six junior designers and prepare construction documents for multimillion dollar projects. Outside of the office, Diego enjoys time with his family, physical activity such as weight training and swimming, and attending professional development conferences.
