David Brooks is a principal and the lead mechanical engineer and commissioning authority at Akin Brooks. With experience in the industry since 1988, David's primary roles within the company include business development, mechanical engineering, and commissioning. David is also a PE, CxA, and a certified control systems engineer. David graduated from the University of South Florida with a BS in Engineering. Prior to joining Akin Brooks, David was a partner at a local firm and led the commissioning and special projects design team there. Outside of the office, David enjoys spending time with family, and playing with his dogs and is a big fan of all things sci-fi.
