VA Lake Nona Medical Center Central Energy Plant Renovation
Orlando, FL
Healthcare
This project included all designs to address deficiencies found in a previously executed Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) report. The project included replacement of the boiler ventilation system fans with updated controls and sequences, replacement of boiler heat stack energy recovery coils, restoration of all outside condenser water piping systems, remediation of the fuel storage system (new manholes, replacement of defective concrete slabs) and associated fuel oil control system, and BAS integration of the existing steam trap monitoring, and replacement/restoration of the existing CEP roof system. All systems had to remain in operation so detailed phasing plans were developed as part of the design.
