This project included conversion of an office space to a new Bio Safety Level 2 wet laboratory with a new tissue culture room. The project included fume hoods and biosafety cabinets and serves as a main research and development space for the tenant. The HVAC system included a new 100% outside air handling unit, new redundant high plume exhaust fans, expansion of existing chiller system, new lab gases, new DI water system, numerous plumbing updates, and local waste neutralization units. The electrical renovations included new LED lighting, new lighting controls, new power to support the new HVAC equipment, and a new IT data closet.
