The project includes constructing a new 8-story Memorial Regional Hospital Surgery and Critical Care Tower at 3501 Johnson St, Hollywood, Florida. The new tower features a lobby, surgery department, and patient rooms, along with demolishing the existing 2-story portion and rebuilding a 3-story section for patient care, clinical, and support spaces. Key additions include 35,000 square feet for the first-floor lobby and sterile processing, 30,000 square feet for 20 new operating rooms on the second floor, and 30,000 square feet each for MEP infrastructure on the third floor and for 30 beds on floors four through eight. Demolition and rebuilding efforts cover 40,000 square feet on the first floor for outpatient services, 40,000 square feet on the second floor for pre-post and staff support areas, and 40,000 square feet on the third floor for CVI, rehab, and GME. Additionally, 5,000 square feet on the first and second floors were renovated for supply chain, administration, human resources, and existing operating rooms.
